1983 Ford/Saulsbury Tanker, powered by a 429 cu. in. gas engine and a 5 speed manual tranmission with a 2 speed rear end, 1250 gallon water tank, 250 gallon per minute PTO pump. The fire body was originally built by Saulsbury Fire Apparatus in Tully, New York and was mounted on a 1964 Ford chassis.In 1983 the body was removed and placed on the current cab and chassis. The work was completed by Halpin Fire Apparatus in Elmira, New York. This Apparatus was replaced by the 1996 Freightliner/Saulsbury 3000 gallon Tanker and sold to the Speedsville, New York fire company
