1978 Chevolet/Saulsbury 4 wheel drive Mini-Pumper. Powered by a 350 cu.in.gas engine and automatic transmission. 200 gallon water tank with a 250 gallon per minute PTO pump. The apparatus was built by Saulsbury Fire Apparatus in Tully, New York and paid for totally from monies raised by the membership. The apparatus doubled as a light rescue vehicle and initial attack apparatus. The apparatus was a quick response vehicle but was hampered by the lack of sufficient water supply. These vehicles were very popular in the 80's but as manufactures were able to couple automatic transmissions with big horsepower diesel engines and large capacity water they were used more as special application vehicles. This apparatus was sold to the McGraw, New York fire company in 1991
